A person calls says you've won 8 million dollars and a fancy car through ACH and comes in cashier check from Bank of America and will auction off the car to have the extra money added to the amount on the check. Calls back often and needs my bank account information in order to send the certified letter. My sheriff's department confirmed these are scam calls going around and there's really a lot of these exact scams going on that they have received calls about.

Received this number via Facebook Messenger from a "friend" on Instagram and was told to text them to apply for a grant from American Hope Resources. When I called out this person for pretending to be my friend, they immediately unsent this number, but unfortunately for them, I had already taken a screenshot of our conversation with the number still showing.

a recorded message will tell you that they are calling from credit national assistance and they are following up on your inquiry some financial help. they provide this number. I was bored I called it. You can tell it's a scam call when you hear the "boop" sound before someone answer. They identified them self as "National Debt Assistance" I played along. They say they can help you by collecting your name, your address, and yes social security number. Clearly phishing
