Like other reviews, received same fax from Mamak Stan LLP. Unclaimed "Payable-on-Death" amount of $9,820,000.00 and the policy holder was one of their clients by the name of Mr. Gary (my last name). They claim Mr. Gary died in an accident in Toronto Canada, 8 years ago. They're seeking my consent to be in partnership on the claim based "in view of the fact you share the same last name and nationality with the deceased." That's when I had to chuckle and knew for a fact, this is a SCAM!

Received a fax (yes, a fax) on January 30, 2020 from Mamak Stan LLP wanting to help me claim a "permanent life insurance policy" (their quotation marks, not mine) in the amount of $9,820.000.00. Of course, time is of the essence, because the money is on the verge of escheat. It's obviously a form letter, because my name is in bold type, and so is the surname of my alleged relative. At the website, the attorney names bear no biographical information or even a photograph. This is a SCAM.

1/30/20 received fax claiming $9,820,000 permanent life insurance policy from a deceased by the name of Gary Blake whose relatives cannot be found. Yeah, right.

A fax claiming to leave USA $9,820,000 (despite being Canadian) to myself as a family member. No knowledge of any living relative in Canada and I can't think ehy anyone would have such a large insurance payout without knowing who it was going to!! SCAM!

Received a fax at work from this number (using my uncommon but correctly spelled name) stating that my father (using his correct name with only a slight misspelling) had died in Toronto eight years ago and left $9.820.000. Total scam - I had spoken on the telly with Dad just last evening.

Received this number via Facebook Messenger from a "friend" on Instagram and was told to text them to apply for a grant from American Hope Resources. When I called out this person for pretending to be my friend, they immediately unsent this number, but unfortunately for them, I had already taken a screenshot of our conversation with the number still showing.

a recorded message will tell you that they are calling from credit national assistance and they are following up on your inquiry some financial help. they provide this number. I was bored I called it. You can tell it's a scam call when you hear the "boop" sound before someone answer. They identified them self as "National Debt Assistance" I played along. They say they can help you by collecting your name, your address, and yes social security number. Clearly phishing
