Garbled automated call speaking of charging me $399 for something and needing to call within 72 hours to cancel. And Caller ID was faked to look like calling from the neighborhood

unsolicited call. Voice sounded automated and when it was announced the company that was calling it garbled A mans voice was an announcement that my card was being charged $399 for some coverage and to call back to 800-583-1820. the call came from 203-836-8805. TGe man signed off by saying that this is Charles Smith and then it was garbled and could not understand what was being said.

Received this number via Facebook Messenger from a "friend" on Instagram and was told to text them to apply for a grant from American Hope Resources. When I called out this person for pretending to be my friend, they immediately unsent this number, but unfortunately for them, I had already taken a screenshot of our conversation with the number still showing.

a recorded message will tell you that they are calling from credit national assistance and they are following up on your inquiry some financial help. they provide this number. I was bored I called it. You can tell it's a scam call when you hear the "boop" sound before someone answer. They identified them self as "National Debt Assistance" I played along. They say they can help you by collecting your name, your address, and yes social security number. Clearly phishing
