Unscrupulous skip-tracers use this robocall to verify who and where you are located so they can file a collections lawsuit and serve you court lawsuit papers to take your only home or vehicle if you have nothing else. Do NOT fall for this. Do NOT answer or call back. Your phone's location services settings will make you a sitting duck by giving away your location. have location services turned off. They often carry firearms and follow you. This is a TRICK to harm you.

Scam- so terrible too since so many people are burdened with student loan debt that they can’t get out from under. Honest people trying to improve their earnings potential only to end up with debt but no job. True predators. They should be sought out and imprisoned!!

Scam call about Navient Student Loan lawsuit. Call came from phone number 973-284-8002 but instructed to call 202-921-7300 with the ID number 112019.

Also have received numerous calls with the same validation number as others of #112019. Funny this number doesn't seem so unique if others have it. Lol. Total scam. Like the IRS and all other federal entities they send letters. They do NOT call.

I received a call from 1-978-868-4200, I didn't answer because number looked suspicious. Message was left by some lady ID#24851 about some Navient lawsuit settlement that I qualified for total forgiveness on student loan. Instructed me to call back by today to have them activate the forgiveness. She left a number 202-921-7300 to call back with my validation #112019. I've received soo many of these calls and let them go to voice mail to know it's a scam.

Now you screwed up, son. You just committed a serious crime that the FTC isn't going to appreciate. In a hilarious turn of the tables, I called the number back enough that they picked up and told me to "PLEASE STOP CALLING!!!". The phone is now off the hook, providing me with a busy signal. I'm sad because I thought I'd made new friends. Now they won't answer my calls and want me to stop calling them. :(

When I told her I wasn't falling for the scam because I wasn't an idiot, she confirmed I was an idiot. So I call back to talk to a supervisor to have my number removed. He claimed he was doing so and then said "how could we be scamming you if we work for the federal government, sir?" Despite employees earlier telling me they did not work for the Dept of Ed, or any other federal or state agency or regulatory commission, etc.

This 202 number is the number they tell you to call to have your student loans forgiven. The number they called from 317-664-9940. This is the second call I've received from this "company" claiming to have my student loans forgiven. I finally called back to get on the do not call list. Immediately asked for my name, email, how much I owe in loans, and finally asked for my SSN, which I refused to give them.

Scam! It claims a recent claim settlement guarantees student loan forgiveness, even while in default. There is neither a claim judgement nor automatic student loan forgiveness. Please do not contact these people.

Received this number via Facebook Messenger from a "friend" on Instagram and was told to text them to apply for a grant from American Hope Resources. When I called out this person for pretending to be my friend, they immediately unsent this number, but unfortunately for them, I had already taken a screenshot of our conversation with the number still showing.

a recorded message will tell you that they are calling from credit national assistance and they are following up on your inquiry some financial help. they provide this number. I was bored I called it. You can tell it's a scam call when you hear the "boop" sound before someone answer. They identified them self as "National Debt Assistance" I played along. They say they can help you by collecting your name, your address, and yes social security number. Clearly phishing
